Good news for nonprofits in Michigan's Upper Peninsula: The Community Foundation of Marquette is now accepting grant proposals until the end of March.
The foundation, which was founded in 1988 and has awarded $14 million in grants since, is looking for "positive, long-term impact projects that will have a positive, long-term impact on the people who live in our community," CEO Zosia Eppensteiner says in a press release.
Projects that include homelessness prevention, arts, health, conservation, and community development are welcome, as are proposals "that will have a positive, long-term impact on the people who live in our community," Eppensteiner says.
Interested parties can contact the foundation's director of people and programs at (906) 226-7666 or program@cfofmc.org with any grant-related questions.
