The new CEO of Allergy & Asthma Network says she wants to make sure people suffering from allergies and asthma know they're not alone.
Lynda Mitchell, a certified executive executive with more than 30 years of experience in health management and quality management, says she wants to "make sure that everyone suffering from allergies and related conditions is aware that they are not alone and that they have the support and resources they need to live their lives to the fullest," the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
She says she wants to make sure that people know that there's an FDA-approved drug out there that can treat their allergies and that there's a way to safely take that drug without having to go to the doctor.
