What do you do when you're laid off from your job? Well, if you're a freshman at George Washington University, you can do something about it.
The school's iGive program allows students to identify a social cause they're passionate about and then donate $7,500 to that cause, the Washington Post reports.
"You'll learn and practice leadership skills that will help you change the world for good," says the program's leader, assistant clinical professorPatricia Bory.
The idea is that by the time you graduate, you'll be a world-changer, the Post notes.

Foundation Provides Interest-free Loans to Start Up Social Enterprises
The Charities Aid Foundation has set up a scheme, called the Social Enterprise Assist, that will render interest-free loans of up to £10,000 each to help social enterprise start-ups.
