Six Damon Runyon Clinical Investigators have received the 2012 Clinical Investigator Award from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. Each will receive $450,000 to support the development of his/her cancer research program. On the other hand, two Damon Runyon Clinical Investigators have been awarded the 2012 Clinical Investigator Continuation Grants and each award will provide an additional two years of funding totaling $300,000.
The 2012 Clinical Investigator Awardees are: Carey K. Anders, MD, Oren J. Becher, MD, Sarat Chandarlapaty, MD, PhD, Ryan B. Corcoran, MD, PhD, Kevin B. Jones, MD, Holbrook E. Kohrt, MD, PhD. On the other hand, the recipients of the Continuation Grants are Andrew L. Feldman, MD and William Y. Kim, MD.
