The Palm Beach Post has named its "Business People of the Week" for June, and this one is no exception.
It'sRaphael Clemente, executive director of the Quantum Foundation's Palm Beach Venture Philanthropy Division.
Clemente, a former executive director of the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, is responsible for the foundation's Venture Philanthropy Division, which aims to raise money for " neighborhood grocery stores, community-based childcare centers, mixed-income housing, healthcare centers, and other transformative efforts to improve the quality of life for residents in underinvested neighborhoods," per a press release.
Among Clemente's previous roles: executive director of the West Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, and executive director of the West Palm Beach International Film Festival.
The rest of the week's honorees: Todd Kalkstein, interim CFO of Accelus; Dominique McDonald, business development director of MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care; and Kim Pacewicz, assistant chief clinical & operations officer of the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County.
