Foundations team up to help tackle the SDGs
Foundation: Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Rockefeller Foundation
First piece of information presented to the reader is that many foundations are shifting their pursuit to Sustainable Development Goals. Following that the reader is made aware of the fact that the reason for this being than many philanthropic foundations came in a tad too late for Millennium Development Goals. Following that we are given information on two new coalitions that have formed in order to further Sustainable Development Goals.
Next the reader is given some information regarding how foundations simply weren't so active in the past. Examples are given pertaining to instances where foundations simply weren't invited to meetings, and the question is posed whether they would have even came anyway. The last piece of knowledge the reader is left with discusses how foundations are hoping to be more of a base rather than huge development.
